Fika [Fee-ka] is a social phenomenon and one that is quickly spreading the world.
Originating in Sweden, it's translated to mean 'coffee with friends', but it really means much more than that.
It is considered important and a legitimate reason to slow down, set aside some quality time to spend with friends and to enjoy the good things in life.
We work to create and provide co-living homes that give landlords and tenants alike the opportunity to do just that.
Sam initially developed an interest in property some years ago, and coupled with a background in business and sales across different market sectors, naturally led to the creation of Fika.
With several investments himself, Sam's main focus is on the operational and logistical side of the business, ensuring that the company stays compliant and its processes are streamlined to ensure we deliver the best possible service to the landlords we work with and the tenants we accommodate.
Kiera has previously worked as Branch Manager for several local and national agencies gaining vast experience in property.
Strongly believing there was a better way to deliver HMO services to landlords, Kiera mainly focuses on ensuring that our clients' properties stay compliant and are managed efficiently.
Kiera has many property investments herself from HMO's, single lets, serviced accommodation and commercial units.
Alongside Kiera, Tracey's responsibilities are to ensure that our clients' properties are effectively looked after and well maintained.
As our 'boots on the ground', this includes ensuring that the properties are thoroughly cleaned as agreed with our clients and our routine property inspections are conducted efficiently to identify maintenance issues as quickly as possible.
Tracey is also enjoys being the 'go to' and a friendly face for tenants to speak with about any concerns.
Julie has many years of lettings experience having worked for several large 'high street' agencies.
As a small portfolio landlord herself, Julie's responsibilities are arranging and conducting viewings, and then onboarding and checking in the most reliable and trustworthy tenants to accommodate.
Julie also handles check-out process, ensuring tenancy changeovers run smoothly.
Working closely with Julie, Pamela handles the administrative side of onboarding tenants, from taking holding deposits, handling the referencing process and arranging for tenancy agreements to be signed and tenancy deposits to be registered.
Pamela also ensures that all maintenance and right to rent checks and certificates are renewed on time, helping keep our clients properties and tenancies compliant.
Our vision is to improve the way that HMO lettings and management services are delivered to landlords and tenants alike, therein continuing to build upon and grow a profitable business that is valued by our clients and respected by our competitors.
Our goal is to help as many landlords as possible keep their voids to a minimum and profits to a maximum, freeing their time to focus on the financial rewards of their investments and doing more of the things they love.
We promise to be friendly, professional, proactive, courteous and honest in our approach whilst being accountable with our actions at all times.
