Traditionally, tenants are asked to pay a tenancy deposit up to five weeks worth of rent as security against a property. The problem with that is, not only is it a lot of money, but if you are currently renting you won't get your current deposit back until you move out, meaning you always need that extra lump-sum of cash available to put down on your next home - just for a deposit! 

We offer another solution...

Once you have completed your referencing with Canopy, we will apply to Flatfair on your behalf by simply submitting your reference report. This means that you will not need to complete another reference.

Flatfair will then review your reference report and, if you meet their own referencing criteria, you will be accepted for No Deposit and will receive an email from Flatfair to choose your preferred deposit option (a refundable tenancy deposit or Flatfair No deposit) and make payment.

Please note that if you choose to pay a refundable tenancy deposit, you will still need to make payment to Flatfair who will then register your deposit with MyDeposits on our behalf.
