Traditionally, tenants are asked to pay a refundable tenancy deposit up to five weeks worth of rent as security against the property.
The problem with that is, not only is it a lot of money, but if you are currently renting you won't get your current deposit back until you move out, meaning you always need that extra lump-sum of cash available to put down on your next home - just for a deposit!

*To qualify for No Deposit, tenants (and guarantors where applicable) must be fully referenced by a third party referencing provider meeting Flatfair's referencing criteria.
*No Deposit is not an insurance product meaning you will still be responsible for any end of tenancy charges such as cleaning, damages or unpaid rent.
If you don't meet the referencing criteria to use No Deposit, or if you simply prefer, you can pay a refundable tenancy deposit equal to five weeks worth of rent. Some tenants actually prefer this option given that, although the No Deposit check-in fee is much lower, it is non-refundable.
Tenancy deposits are legally protected by My Deposits, a government-backed tenancy deposit protection scheme, who hold and protect your deposit until you move out.
